Caylee Anthony, 2 yr old, was reported missing on july 15, 2008 by her grandmother. Casey Anthony, the mother pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of Caylee in 2008. On Saturday June 4th an FBI expert testified that a long brown hair found in the trunk of Casey's car belonged to the dead 2-yr-old Caylee. this piece of evidence is said to be the most contentious out of all. Baez, Casey Anthony s attorney, has tried unsuccessfully in months to persuade the judge to ban the hair evidence along with air samples. without the hair and air samples this trial is pointless but yet with this it still seems to be due to the fact that they have nothing else on Casey Anthony sadly.
i would say yes this is journalism because it has to do with a trial that has caused much controversy in Florida since it happened in 2008. there are many people that believe Casey killed her daughter and few that believe she did not while others are not sure what to believe. what makes it journalism is that it is effecting a community and letting them know what really happened to a fellow member of their community and giving them the satisfaction of having a possible killer put to justice.
